This term we explored colour ,texture and form while learning about the artist Mlle Hipolyte. We explored paper construction techniques such as fringing, quilling, scoring and paper modelling.Composition was a big part of this art piece and repeating forms to emulate the shapes and textures of a coral reef.This project was a great connection to the work the children were doing in class during Science.
