Weekly Wrap Up- learning, sports and celebration

Dear Families,

Brighton has been buzzing with activity this week, with lots of learning,  sports, and celebration! Our STEM projects are off to a flying start, with 4.7 and 4.8 partnering with the Caravan and Camping Association.

The Year 5/6 Learning Hub Assembly was a highlight, where students shared their learning and achievements. A standout moment was the sing-along with Mark and the students in 2.8. Well done and thank you to Lisa, Bonnie, Megan, and the students in 6.3 for hosting another successful assembly.

Brighton is a sporty school, and some of our students were back on the courts participating in a netball carnival. Cheers echoed across the court as students competed with enthusiasm and great teamwork. Students showed resilience throughout the day and enjoyed the challenge of playing in different positions. Congratulations to all students who participated, and a shout-out to Jeff and Taylor for supporting this event.

In celebration of Mother’s Day, Parents and Friends held Muffins for Mum, and our littlest learners performed a song for their Mums.

It’s been a week filled with learning and connection, and it continues tomorrow with the Pedal Prix Come and Try session at Victoria Park.

Enjoy the weekend. Happy Mother’s Day.

Warm Regards, Rebecca
