We are pleased to introduce and welcome Denys to Brighton. Denys joins us as our Pastoral Care Worker for this term. Denys brings a wealth of experience and a passion for supporting the wellbeing of our students. With her warm and caring nature, Denys has made a positive start connecting with students and staff. Denys works on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Our Year 1 students have been learning about the weather! Through hands-on learning experiences, they’ve inquired into the elements of weather and the four seasons. To demonstrate their understanding students designed and created dioramas. To complete their learning students engaged in self reflection and provided feedback to their peers. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm for learning.
It was great to see our Pedal Prix vehicles back on the track at Victoria Park for the come and try session! Students had the opportunity to test their driving skills and experience the thrill of racing firsthand. It was fantastic to see the students having a go at something new. A shout out to Marek, Andy, AJ, Phoebe and Karen for making this experience possible!
