Brighton Primary School has enjoyed amazing interest in the Oliphant Science Awards with 146 students entering in 83 projects across all age groups and science categories!
Students across the school showcased their work on a chosen science category in an in-school expo, judged by Ms Evans, Mr Lindsay and the Year 7 student executive team. The chosen students were then entered into the Oliphant Science Awards competition, the state’s largest science competition.
Our school has continued to be successful, winning a prize for the last 3 years.
Congratulations to the following students who received a Highly Commended/Encouragement certificates for their entries:
- Penny A. from 4.4 (Poster)
- Oliver S. from 4.3 (Models and Inventions)
- Mia T., Sara B. and Zoe Q. from 6.1 and 6.4 (Photography)
A special congratulations goes to Isla C. from 4.4 who has won a prize for her entry in the Games category. Isla will discover if she finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd in a ceremony later this year.
