It was lovely to experience all the joy and excitement of my first Sports Day at Brighton. Our students warmed up with the health hustle, balanced eggs on spoons, jumped hurdles and robbed the nest. A highlight was the much loved tug of war, the sprints and the relay. Congratulations to the victors- Sturt (green) and thank you to everyone who made the day such a success including the Team Captains, Jeff, Marek, Mandy and her team of volunteers.
Due to the school closure, Remembrance Day was observed on Monday. Lisa and Stuart’s class (4.4) hosted the assembly, which due to the inclement weather, had to videoed. Save the date….. the End of Year Celebration will be held on the school oval on Tuesday 13th December from 5:30pm. This is shaping up to be a great community event with all students performing. Keep your eye on the Blog for further information.
