Last week saw our school community celebrating Book Week and Writer’s Week. It was with great excitement that our Overall Winners and Growth as a Writer awards were presented. The assembly was a great success with families and friends being able to attend. The Grand Parade showed the wide range of characters our students and staff like and it was great to see some many taking part. Short Listed, Over Winners and Growth as a Writer entries will be on display in the library until the end of this week.
This week sees the conclusion of the Premier’s Reading Challenge. Friday 9th September is the last day for students to put in their completed Student Record Sheets, so please encourage your child to have their forms in by end of day, this Friday.
Book Club brochures for Issue 6 will be going home this week. Orders can be placed by going online at: scholastic.com.au/LOOP or you can download the LOOP app. Orders will close on Wednesday 14th Sept (Week 8). This should allow time for delivery before end of term.
