Trading cards at school

Every year students bring popular toys and games to school whether it be trading cards, grocery shop giveaways or Beyblades. Brighton Primary does not have a policy or ban on these items however when they impact student wellbeing or right to learn we have to step in. Toys from home can be a significant distraction in the classroom and when students trade items during break times, this can lead to conflict and/or unfair exchanges. We ask that you encourage your child to leave these things at home. Teachers will be holding these items until the end of the day should they come to school and impact their or the learning of others.
