Further to my blog post recently, the City Of Holdfast Bay has informed the school that it is now not possible to allow traffic to flow both ways on Highet Avenue during the duration of the road works. As of now, traffic will only be able to flow in a westerly direction, past the school towards Brighton road. Entry to Highet Avenue from Brighton Road will not be possible. As previously suggested, parents can gain access to the car parks across from the school by utilising Stopford Avenue, on the northern side of the football/rugby club and utilise the fabulous council carparks opposite our school-use the pedestrian crossing to cross safely to school each morning and afternoon.
