Each year your Governing Council discusses the great contributions volunteers make at our school, when we are deciding on the Volunteer of the Year. Often it is very difficult to nominate just one volunteer, as has been the case this year. Council has decided on three recipients for 2019.
- Chantel Peacock For her tireless efforts in all things ‘running and sport’ Fortunately we were able to recognise Chantel’s outstanding contribution at our Year 7 Graduation last night. Many thanks Chantel!
- Tim Pettit For his commitment to sharing the joys of playing chess, joining students at our school each Wednesday teaching students this wonderful game. Many thanks Tim!
- Marylin Devlin For her fantastic contribution in our library each Wednesday and Thursday where her skills are a greatly valued resource. Many thanks Marylin!
Under normal circumstances we hold a Thankyou Morning Tea here at school where we recognise all volunteers, but under current circumstances this was not possible. Many, many thanks to all volunteers and special congratulations to Chantel, Tim and Marylin!
