  1. Thank you for streaming live this much-awaited program. Nice to see so many characters in amazing form.
Congratulation to everyone running the show successfully even in these challenging times.
    Cheers!

    1. Thank you all for your kind words, it certainly was challenging and we are pleased that you appreciate the effort. It was impressive to see all of the book characters on the day. Congratulations to all of the parents for the creation of such fabulous costumes. I was also excited to see the teachers dressed up to celebrate Book Week. A fantastic effort by all.

  2. Well done Staff & Students of BPS! I caught some of the live stream this morning, and it was great to see the creativity and beaming smiles on show. Thank you very much for all the effort in putting this together, and hats off to all the teachers who got just as involved to make today fun and memorable for all the little people in our lives. Fantastic stuff!

    1. Thank you Belinda. It is wonderful to have some positive feedback. It was certainly logistically and technically challenging for a bunch of teachers but we wanted to include the community as best we could. Most schools have simply cancelled the event but with such a strong literacy focus at BPS we just couldn’t do that. The students certainly enjoyed the morning and really that is what it is all about.

    1. Class photos will up to the class teachers but these will not necessarily be posted to the blog for privacy reasons.

    1. Can I get a confirmation that the community is seeing the live stream? We have also sent out the link via SeeSaw to assist those having trouble.

  3. I love the effort the staff go to for this event. It means a lot to the kids and adds to the fun of the day. Thanks so much for sending the photos through.

  4. That’s disappointing for both students and parents. I usually organise the morning off to watch the parade but didn’t when I heard parents were banned. I assumed like many others that it would be uploaded rather than just live streamed for the many parents who have to work at that time. Very disappointing.

    1. I understand your disappointment however live streaming in this way offers greater cyber safety for our students.

  5. Hi does this include the assembly? We were invited to see our daughter accept an award but not sure if it’s all virtual?
