Swimming instruction is one of the required aspects of the school’s Health and Physical Education program. This year’s swimming program will be held at the Aquatic Centre for all Foundation to Year 5 students. Instruction will be carried out by DfE Swimming Instructors. Because of COVID there are a few changes this year that we must strictly adhere to. No parents may go along to watch swimming and the children will not have access to the change rooms. After their lesson they will need to dry themselves off, put their warm clothes back on over their bathers and come back to school where they can get changed into their other set of clothes. They will need 2 towels. Children will be transported by bus as usual to The Aquatic Centre approximately 30minutes before the lesson and bring them straight back after it. Notes will be going out to classes in the next couple of days. Please read them carefully. Any questions to your child’s class teacher.
