Yesterday we welcomed other schools, to ours, as part of a Tackle Rugby Carnival.
Brighton PS entered 3 teams (2 x boy’s, 1 x girl’s) into the event. These teams were led by coaches, Jeff, Rosie and Brian.
Our players demonstrated great teamwork, and learned a lot about the game through the day. Their learning was thanks to the umpires who not only upheld the rules, they explained them; alongside the support and guidance of their coaches.
Congratulations to all our players. All Brighton teams made the Grand Finals. Brighton Girls defeated Christies Beach 24-22; and Brighton Boys defeated Brighton Boys 40-22.
Thanks to all involved in making this day a success, and to all the parents who came out to support the carnival.
The State Carnival will be held later this term.
