Road Crossing

It’s great to see so many parents and students using the Highet Avenue crossing correctly. We have recently had the ‘emu’ crossings red and white posts upgraded thanks to the Holdfast Council.  Please remember that the speed limit of 25km/h applies. Some students from Years 5,6 and all Year 7’s have been trained to work at the crossing.  Unfortunately we have noticed some parents and children not using the crossing and just darting out between parked cars. This is very dangerous. The crossing is there to help get safely to school, so please use it correctly. Please be a role model for all of our students.
