COVID-19 Update number 8

In keeping with very clear statements from both State and Federal leaders, we are asking parents to continue to practice social distancing when in our yard. It can be challenging but it is something we all should be making an effort to do. We continue to ask parents to drop your child/children off at the gate and not to enter too far into our school grounds-I recognise if all parents were waiting by a gate it would form a crowd. In essence there is no need to come in at all. Please try to ensure this happens, choosing a spot where your child can meet you while you are practicing social distancing. It is such good practice for our students, your children, becoming more independent and demonstrating resilience.

A big thank you to those generous parents who have posted kind words of thanks for myself, the leadership team and all staff in general for our efforts managing a very challenging situation. It is sincerely appreciated.

On Wednesday, DfE will be launching a new site, ‘Our Learning SA’ which will be a on line resource for parents to assist with schooling at home. The leadership team will review Wednesday morning and provide all details to parents vis this Blog.

Keep well and stay safe.

Ian
