Our OSHC service is currently undergoing significant change. Trudy Stewart-Cook, our current OSHC Director has tendered her resignation, having won the role of Regional Manager with Camp Australia. Trudy officially finishes at Brighton Primary School on 28th June 2019. The OSHC committee and community thank Trudy for her contribution to our site and wish her good luck with her new role.
We have advertised the position of OSHC Director already and we have plans in place to ensure that the new Director is in place as soon as possible. We will be conducting interviews for our new Assistant Director this Thursday. The successful applicant will begin the role in Vacation Care, Week 1 of the upcoming school holidays.
From a staffing perspective it is a challenging time for our OSHC community, however our Governing Council and I have every confidence that this will be a new beginning for our OSHC services at Brighton PS. Parents can be assured that appropriate personnel will be in place, managing our OSHC services, prior to the appointment of both the Director and Assistant Director at our school. Parents are invited to contact the school if you have any questions – ask for either Jan or Ian.
