Dear Brighton Primary School Community,
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for our community to come together and make a difference. In LA6, children have graciously volunteered their time to participate in fundraising activities during our Community Hour on Friday afternoons, demonstrating their dedication to giving back. We couldn’t be prouder of their enthusiasm for making a positive impact.
The LA6 Fundraising Team has carefully selected three charities close to our hearts:
- Term 2: Guide Dogs SA
- Term 3: RSPCA
- Term 4: Cancer Council
To kickstart our fundraising efforts, we’re hosting a delightful bake sale this term for Guide Dogs SA!
We’ve planned three bake sales, each tailored to different year levels. Here are the important dates to mark in your calendars:
- Reception and Year 1 Students: Week 4: Friday 24th May
- Year 2, 3, and 4 Students: Week 6: Friday 7th June
- Year 5 and 6 Students: Week 8: Friday 21st June
Your child will be able to buy delicious treats in their designated week such as cupcakes, biscuits, honey crackles, and slices. They will have time after lunch to do this.
Additionally, Guide Dogs SA has generously provided socks for purchase at $15 each.
Your support is invaluable, and we’re deeply grateful for your dedication to making this term’s fundraising efforts a success. Let’s bake for a cause and spread sweetness throughout our community!
