Jeff MillerLacrosse Carnival 2024
Last Tuesday Brighton fielded a record breaking 17 Lacrosse teams ( 120 students) Students had a fantastic day with the 4 Finals games, Brighton won 2 year 6 Boys and Year 6 Girls. Many, many, many thanks to the following parents who supported teams on the day: Ali, Luke, Sarah, Leah, Cat and Katrin. Thanks also goes to the attending teachers: Lisa, Bonnie, Stazz, Aaron and Cadance. We were lucky enough to have 8 SEDA College Soccer students help out with managing teams.

Congratulations to the following students who have made the Netball teams to represent Brighton next term. Girls ( Amber, Chloe D, Willow, Emily G, Indi J, Taylor, Emily M, Eva, Jessie and Suhana) Boys ( Jay, Mack, Leo, Nate, Pepe, Isaac, Charlie, Harry, Thomas and Harvey)
Tackle Rugby training sessions will begin week 1 next term. The year 5/6 carnival is in week 3 and the year 3/4 carnival is in week 5
Cross Country trials
Trial 1 will be Tuesday the 9th of April, 9am on the ovals. This is only for students born in 2014, 2013 and 2012. 2014 students need to run 2km in a qualifying time of around 10 minutes. 2013 and 2012 students need to run 3km in a qualifying time of around 15 minutes.
