Singing in the City

Tuesday December 5th the Festival Choir was invited to sing in the Adelaide Train Station and the Mortlock Wing of the State Library. It is lovely to get out and sing to the public.

We sang a selection of songs from this year’s repertoire as well as learnt Jingle Bell Rock for some caroling spirit. We snuck a quick trip to the South Australian Museum and were greeted by very enthusiastic staff who requested we sing a song for them too, of course we did ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you to our volunteers Cathy and Melissa. We could not provide the students such lovely expereinces without volunteers to come with us. Special mention to Spencer and Jorden who reliably towed our trolly of equipment all day. Thank you also to Chris, Lottie and Thomas for helping run the excursion smoothly. It really helps on the day to have a few teachers to share the load ๐Ÿ™‚

Well done choir you sang fabulously all day minus a few moments on the bus ๐Ÿ˜‰ It has been a privilege to stand in the best spot to experience your sound all year โค๏ธ
