Dear Families
I am writing to inform you that Brighton Primary School and Centre of Deaf Education will be closed on Thursday 9 November 2023 due to a vote for industrial action by members of the Australian Education Union at this site.
The Education Director has approved the closure on the grounds that insufficient staff will be on duty to enable me as Principal to ensure that adequate standards of student safety and welfare can be provided.
Normal education programs will commence at the site from Friday 10 November 2023.
There will be no OSHC service on Thursday 9 November 2023.
