Last week, SAPOL visited year 5 and 6 students as well as staff at Brighton Primary School for our annual Road and Traffic Training.
The year 6 community have been doing an excellent job, keeping our community safe during their traffic monitoring duties; keep it up!
We’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone in our community the importance of using our crossings as they are there to keep everyone safe.
The crossings are monitored from 8:30am – 8:50am and 3:10pm – 3:25pm every week day when children are present. Please use the crossing inside and outside of these times, always looking both ways. If the crossing is used outside of these times and not supervised, please be very vigilant.
It’s great to see so many parents and students using the crossings correctly. Thank you for being role models for all of our students.
Also, please remember that the speed limit of 25km/h applies.
