Dear Families,
A group of twelve Year 5 and 6 students were invited to participate in the Australian Science and Mathematics School (ASMS) Primary Mathematics Extension Group. These students have thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the challenges and being involved in maths focussed inquiry over the three sessions. Yesterday students showcased the learning from their inquiry, celebrated their achievements, and received their certificate during the ASMS International Science Expo at ASMS located within Flinders University. We are hoping to be part of this program again in 2024.
The countdown has begun, and we’re thrilled to announce the upcoming premiere of The Seagull brought to you by our talented students. The IT Managers have been working throughout playtime in the Studio to put together the first episode of The Seagull. The Seagull production has been entirely student driven through filming, editing and script writing. The Student Executives have also played a major part in the production of this first episode. This is a show you won’t want to miss! Mark your calendars and join us at the launch at the Science Expo at 3.20pm in LA4.
A big shout out to our amazing Parents and Friends Committee! Your dedication and hard work in organising the Father’s Day celebration and Quiz Night did not go unnoticed. Thanks to your efforts, our community is strengthened.
