This week we had the pleasure to host two groups of children from Somerton Park Kindergarten as part of their excursion to support the children’s learning about their local community. Our visitors were entertained by our signing choir and senior festival choir. As part of the visit, the children got to explore our school and to enjoy hands on activities organised by our Student Executives/SRC reps. Thank you to the Student Leaders for their amazing efforts in ensuring the kindy children had a wonderful time at Brighton.
Brighton is a sporty school and this week our Year 5 and 6 students were on the soccer field playing in a District Carnival. Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you for representing our school.
The annual Bookfair was a great success with $7,700 worth of items purchased by families. This means we have $2,350 to stock up on new resources for the library. Thank you to Mandy for organising the Bookfair and spreading the joy of reading.
The P&F movie night concludes a busy week at Brighton. Thank you to the all the parents and staff who kindly donated their time to support this great event.
Our Pedal Prix team are back on the track on Sunday for their first race of the 2023 season. Go Thunder, Bolt and Lightening!
