Cross Country selections were finalised last term and the students will travel to West Beach next Tuesday for the South West Cross Country trials. We have a total of 42 students attending this event.
Year 5/6 NRL Tackle Rugby carnival is on the 17th of May held at Brighton. We have 4 boy teams and 1 girl team entered in this event. NRL coaches will be supporting the students in week 1 on the rules of the game as well as how to tackle safely in this modified game.
Last term the NRL tried to introduce an afternoon program called league stars which as been successfully run at different schools in our area. We did not get the expected numbers for it to take off. We are going to try again in term 3 giving families lots of notice if they are interested.
