The year 1 students presented their final design solutions for the packaging for Melba’s Turkish Delight to Tom and Bec, their industry partners. In expo style, students not only showed their packaging but also justified their choice of material, colour and layout. They spoke about their investigations into the properties of Turkish Delight as a product which influenced their design ideas.
4.3 and 4.4 shared their solutions, in formal presentations, with Tim from Amorim Cork. The students outlined facts about cork, the problem of an end of life solution and companies to manufacture products from cork.
Both industry partners were impressed with the students knowledge, ability to speak about their solution and justify their designs.
