Dear Families,
Congratulations to our Senior Choir who performed at the Festival Theatre as part of the public schools annual Festival of Music. After 3 terms of choir lessons, our students had a wonderful day of rehearsing and a fantastic night performing with over 300 students from schools across South Australia. The performance was a true celebration of the students’ hard work, persistence and commitment. Thank you to Amanda Cheah for training our choir and to Jenny and Peter for helping out on the day. Well done to our choir members and to Akshara for her fabulous solo. We hope to see you performing again in 2023 along with some new choir members!
This week we are celebrating National Week of Deaf People. I hope you enjoyed our online CDE assembly. Our CDE community continues to grow and it was lovely to see so many families at the picnic on Wednesday. Celebrations continue next week.
It’s hard to believe the October holidays are just around the corner. However week 10 is shaping up to be an exciting week at Brighton with the biannual Art Show, Year 6 Enterprise Stalls, Year 1 and Year 4/5 STEM presentations, our very first Colour Fun Run and Wear Your Team Colours day.
