Weekly Wrap Up- Zoo Snooze

Dear Families,

It has been an exciting week with our year 3 children spending a night at the Adelaide Zoo as part of our camp program. I was able to spend some time with the children on Tuesday and Wednesday night and was impressed with their enthusiasm for learning and their independence.   For the majority  of the students it was their first camp experience. What an opportunity to spend over 24 hours at the Zoo and to wake up to the sounds of native and exotic wildlife.  Children spent time learning about animals and conservation issues on the night walk plus meeting animals up close. I would like to thank Courtney for all her work behind the scenes to organise the Zoo Snooze. A big shout out to the staff and parents who volunteered their time to support the camp.

After a few years in the making, the P& F Quiz Night was a great success and lots of fun. Thank you to Leonie and the committee for organising a fabulous community event.

It’s hard to believe there is only one more week until the end of term 2. It’s time to have some more fun and come to school next Friday with Crazy Hair.  Our Student Executives are raising money for the new playground space near learning area 5.

Warm Regards, Rebecca
