PJ Day raising money for the RSPCA

Yesterday (25/6) all the SRC representatives came together for our 2nd SRC Group Meeting that was run by the Year 6/7 Student Executive Officers.  In this meeting, all of the classes brought their agendas with their ideas and issues to discuss with the Student Executive Officers.  The items on this agenda included “What should we do for our next casual day?”, and “What should the money donated go towards?”.

The most voted idea for this term’s casual day on Friday (2/7) was a “Wear your PJs to school day”.  On our casual days, we ask that families send in a gold coin donation that will go to a charity.  Yesterday the classes voted that Friday’s gold coin donations would go towards the RSPCA. The RSPCA is also running low on blankets, so we are also asking that if families have any blankets or sheets to send them in too.  Please do not send in pillows, doonas, or mattresses as these pose a choking and health hazard for the animals.

We look forward to seeing students (and staff) in their PJs on Friday and raising as much money as we can for the RSPCA.

Thank you for your support.
