They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
For a long time the local churches have been serving breakfast to the students of Brighton Primary School on Tuesday morning to ensure they are full and ready to learn.
2020 has brought many challenges our way. For the first time in the breakfast club’s history, it had to be shut down due to COVID-19 restrictions in term 2, by midterm 3 it was open again. This morning our faithful volunteers arrived to serve breakfast but it was called off in line with COVID-19 safety.
In keeping with the South Australian government’s restrictions Breakfast club will be cancelled from next week (Tuesday 24th November) until further notice.
If there are students who do not have access to breakfast, please let the school know.
