Hi Everyone
After school sport is run in 2 season’s – Summer and Winter. Summer season is a commitment to playing the sport in terms 1 and 4.
All of our Summer Sports start in Week 3, Term 1 (10-15 February).
This means we need all of our registrations in by the end of week 1. That is Friday 31st January. This is so myself and other coordinators can create teams (all of which need a coach and team manager), then register these complete teams with the various sporting associations at the start of week 2. In week 2 we also need to allocate equipment and resources to each team + confirm any training details . The sporting associations will create the fixtures ready for us before the first games in week 3.
Basketball starts on Monday 10th February, Cricket starts on Thursday 13th February, Volleyball on Friday 14th, and Tee ball on Saturday 15th February.
Cricket, Tee ball and Volleyball all require Sports Coordinators. Sports Coordinators assist me with creating the teams, and liaising with the sports associations, coaches and team managers. Without coordinators to assist me with the establishment and resourcing of the estimated 40 teams, some sports or teams may not be able to go ahead.

Please be aware for your child to be registered for placement in a team in 2020, all sports fees for 2018 and 2019 must be paid in full by Tuesday, 28th January 2020. All sports fees for 2020 need to be paid by their invoiced due date.

Will there be a games scheduled for basketball?
As working parents love to be able to work out if getting to different venues and different times is going to be a doable 😬before I promise them they can play.

The fixtures are created once teams have been registered. This means we can’t give you the information in advance. Sorry – I know it’d be handy for planning!
