Well done to the tremendous group of 39 Year 5/6 boys and girls who represented our school at the Flinders University ‘Percy Porcupine’s AFL 9s Carnival’ Tuesday. It was a beautiful 29 degree day, but felt far warmer out on the Sturt Campus Oval
Our 4 teams went on to play 6 games across the day, winning the majority. The boys finished with one team in 1st position, and the other in 2nd. The girls team finished in 3rd, and despite knocking off the top team to tie for first place, finished in a tight 2nd position overall by 12 points in combined margin.
I was very proud of the group that we brought on the day. All were very respectful, competitive, and represented BPS with enthusiasm and confidence. A fantastic day overall!
