Rick Persse and the Senior Executive Group (SEG), visited Brighton Primary School on Thursday the 13th of June.
Our 8 SRC Executives showcased a very informative presentation highlighting a number of features of our school. We were entertained with students from our Festival of Music Choir, Junior Choir, Signing Choir, Singing Group and our Dance Group. The information presented had a strong learning focus, but I really wanted to showcase the fabulous Arts programme we have on offer here at Brighton Primary School. I know all our guests were very impressed.
Rosanna, aided by Catharine and Kylee taught our visitors some simple Auslan signs and we concluded the presentation with a 30 minute tour of our school lead by our SRC Executive,where almost all classes featured students engaged in a writing activity.
Rick and the SEG joined us for a scrumptious morning tea so well prepared by Heather, Mandy (Canteen) and with other SSOs assisting.
Special thanks to our SRC Executive : Olivia, Annabelle, Viktoriya, Mehr, Isabelle, Liana, Ava and Tami. Special thanks also to staff : Candice, Catharine, Rosanna, Kylee, Chloe, Amanda, Sarah, Shenae and Heather for all their hard work leading up to and on the day of the visit.
It was a very impressive morning, lead so well by our student Executive.
