We have implemented a tool to allow us to cross post from our blog directly to Facebook.
What does this mean?
The summary, very similar to what you see for each post on the front of the blog, will be visible on Facebook. It will link to the full article on the blog in the same way clicking the [Read More] option on the front page does.
Can I rely on Facebook?
Our answer to this is No. Facebook uses complex algorithms to control what posts you see and when. We recognise however, that linking to the blog through Facebook is another good method to alert you to the presence of new posts.

You can rely on Facebook if you do go to the BPS FB page and switch on ‘see first’.

Thanks for that information. That is something that is very useful, and very happy for the community to make use of it, but it is not something we can enforce or control.
