Goodbye Brighton Primary

It is with a tinge of sadness that I write this last BLOG posting to the BPS community.

I am retiring as of the end of next week, so I am saying farewell. I have enjoyed immensely sharing your children’s school years at Brighton, seeing them come as very shy nervous Receptions to graduating in Year 7. I attended my last Year 7 Graduation Ceremony last night. You must be so proud of them, they all spoke so well.

I have really loved my 15 years here at Brighton with all the staff students and parent community. I will miss you all but I look forward to this new journey in my life, including spending more time with my beautiful family and grandchildren.

Have a wonderful Xmas and a safe new year with your family.

Love Heather Smyth

  1. Thank you and good luck for your future. Enjoy! You have helped me out several times when I have come to the office. I have found you to always be very warm and welcoming. Kind regards, Karen Nicholls (Cooper Hume’s grandmother).

  2. All the best Heather! Thanks for all you’ve done over the years, BPS won’t seem the same without seeing your lovely face around the office! Take care, regards, the van Noordennen family 💐🥂
