Dear Families,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Spooktacular Community Event last Friday! Families enjoyed an evening filled with costumes, home made games, spooky haunted house and yummy food. The live entertainment created a positive vibe. It was wonderful to see so many families coming together, playing, chatting and creating memories. We want to extend a huge thank you to our Parents and Friends committee , parent volunteers and staff for making this event possible.
As part of their Positive Impact Project, our Year 6 Student Executives rolled up their sleeves and took part in a special tree-planting activity yesterday, dedicated to leaving a lasting legacy for future students. Each tree planted not only enhances our school grounds but symbolizes the students’ commitment to a greener, healthier future. Students and community members will benefit from the shade, beauty, and produce from the school orchard for years to come. We’re so proud of our Year 6 Student Executives for their thoughtful contribution to the school community and the positive impact they’ll leave behind! A big shout out to Amy Woollard for supporting this student initiative and to our great grounds team, Sam and Jim.
Today, we gathered as a school community for our annual Arts Assembly, a celebration of creativity and expression! We are fortunate to have a strong Arts program at Brighton. Thank you to our dedicated arts teachers, Rachel, Amanda and Kylee . We look forward to seeing our students creativity thrive.
Enjoy the sunshine this weekend.
Warm Regards, Rebecca
