Weekly Wrap Up

Dear Families,

Our Mid-Year Foundation Fiesta on Wednesday was a great success! The event was a fantastic opportunity for our littlest learners and their families to come together, have fun, and build lasting connections. From games to delicious tacos, the fiesta was filled with joy, fun, and lots of conversation. The piñata was a highlight! A big thank you to Elena, Emily, Jo, and Jane for making this event possible. Thank you to all the families who attended—your support and enthusiasm made a difference and helped create wonderful memories for our students.

It’s been a big week with Tag Rugby and District Athletics Day. Yesterday, we were back on the track for District Athletics Day. It was a great day with some excellent results, possibly our best relay performance in the last 10 years. A shout out to Jeff for organizing both events and supporting the students’ participation.

This morning, our Year 1 classes were full of excitement as we hosted a Meet the Author event. It was wonderful to see so many families join us to celebrate the children’s learning. The students proudly shared the books they had written and illustrated, showcasing their writing skills and creativity. There was such a positive vibe—thank you to Belinda, Kasey, Jasmine, Michaley and Vanessa for supporting the children.

We look forward to more community events next week with the annual Book Week/Writer’s Week assembly and the dress-up parade.

Enjoy the warm weather this weekend.

Warm Regards, Rebecca
