The Department has licenced a product known as EdSmart and we are proud to say we have joined the program. EdSmart is a cloud based application out of Melbourne that helps streamline communications and permission slips.
We are in the process of taking the “Out of Box” state the Department has preconfigured and personalising it to Brighton PS and configuring our templates for Communication and Permission Slips. We are about to officially launch using EdSmart.
For you this means no more lost notes/permission slips, no more wondering if I have or haven’t returned it, or if another parent/guardian has done so. You will receive an email inviting you to complete the permission slip online, including a digital signature. Once it has been completed, any of the parent/guardians associated with the student can click that link and see if the permission slip has or hasn’t been completed.
This is a timely reminder to also make sure you have kept your details up to date with the school, in particular your email address. If you think you may have different details to what we have on file head over and complete our Information Update form and we will update whatever is different.
