On Tuesday 9/8/22 – 17 year 5/6 students competed in the first round of the statewide schools basketball competition. It was an excellent day with both the boys and girls teams displaying excellent sportsmanship at all times.
The girls team, consisting of Lily F, Amy L, Piper, Laila, Elsie, Mill, Pippa & Amelie – were coached by Darren Crase finished the day with 2 wins, an overall ranking of 5th.
The boys team – Leo C, Hugo, Kane A, Brody N, Jude, Jack K, Jack C, Harry P & Hunter D, coached by Ben Pummeroy & Rob Carter were undefeated on the day and have progressed to the finals round in Term 4. Well done boys – this is a great achievement!
Huge thanks to the coaches for all their guidance and encouragement of the teams. Thanks also goes to scorers – Ali C, Tristan F, Angela P, Darren H, Sal C & Darren N.
