Weekly Wrap Up- New School hall

Dear families,

This week, we had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful assembly led by our Year 2-4 Learning Hub. The children enthusiastically shared their recent learning with us, including their STEM designs and procedural writing. A highlight of the assembly was acknowledging students who had demonstrated our school values of respect, empathy, inclusivity and excellence. Thank you to all the families who joined us to celebrate our students’ learning.

We’re reaching out to you once more to support our petition for a much needed new school hall. Our vision for this space is to provide the full sized facilities our students need, including:

  • A full-sized basketball court
  • Two indoor volleyball courts
  • A performance space for music, drama, and assemblies
  • Room for whole-school events and gatherings
  • Change room facilities
  • Kitchen facilities

Having a hall with these features will not only enrich the sporting and cultural opportunities for our students but also allow us to bring the whole school together for assemblies and community events. The proposed new school hall will be situated on the eastern side of the staff carpark on Highet Avenue still leaving plenty of oval space for soccer, football, cricket, rugby etc.

Please take a moment to sign the petition if you haven’t already and please share the link with your friends and family. Please click here to sign the on line petition. Every signature brings us one step closer to making this vision a reality for our school community.

Enjoy the weekend.

Warm Regards, Rebecca
