Weekly Wrap Up – idol finish to term 2

Dear Families,

As we wrap up Term 2, we have many highlights and achievements to share with you.

Congratulations to our Signing Choir for successfully auditioning for the Festival of Music! Our signing choir will perform ‘When I Grow Up’ at Festival Theatre in September. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication. A shout out to Kylee and Rosanna for training the choir.

Our annual Student vs. Educator Netball Game was a fun and competitive event. This year, the staff team emerged victorious. Well done to everyone who participated.

We had a great variety of idols at Brighton today! There were brain surgeons, pop stars, footy players, hockey players, NRL stars, Nanas, Great Aunts, and ninjas… the list goes on. Thank you to the Student Executives for organising the fundraising day. The money raised will go towards improving the Peace Garden. Thank you to everyone for all the effort you put into your costumes and for your kind cash donations.

Our Seagull Team had an exciting excursion to Channel 9, where they learned all about the behind-the-scenes workings of television production. It was an educational and inspiring experience for all involved.

Today, our littlest learners celebrated 100 days at school.

We hope everyone has a restful and enjoyable break. We look forward to seeing you in Term 3!

Warm Regards, Rebecca
