Weekly Wrap Up- Short week filled with lots of learning

Dear Families,

We’re wrapping up another fantastic week of learning and activities at Brighton! Our Year 4 students had an incredible time at Woodhouse Camp. They participated in physical challenges, nature craft, orienteering and learned valuable outdoor skills. The students returned with big smiles and lots of stories about their adventures. A big shout out to the staff and parents who made this opportunity possible, thank you!

The Year 5/6 Learning Hub assembly was a great success. Students showcased their passion projects, we heard from our inaugural debating team and the Senior Choir entertained the audience. Congratulations to AJ and 6.1 for hosting a successful assembly.

Yesterday, 12 very keen students attended ASMS (Australian Science and Mathematics School) to participate in the Primary Maths Extension Group. It was an amazing experience where students were solving problems with students from different schools.

Our Pedal Prix team have been training hard and it’s paying off! Today they participated in the first race of the season at Victoria Park, demonstrating excellent teamwork and perseverance. We’re proud of their dedication and sportsmanship. Thank you to Andy, Marek, AJ, Phoebe and Nadine for supporting the team.

Thank you to all our teachers, students, and parents for making this week so successful. We look forward to more exciting weeks ahead!

Enjoy the weekend.

Warm Regards, Rebecca
