On Tuesday, a special assembly was held to celebrate and present our student leaders for 2024. Thank you to all the parents who joined us for the assembly. Student leadership is an important part of life at Brighton. Our school offers a diverse range of leadership opportunities including Student Executives, Student Learning Hub Leaders, ICT Managers, Eco Leaders, and Sports Captains. Our Student Leadership program provides students with the opportunity to develop the skills, values, and attributes needed to be effective leaders and provides them with an opportunity to work with the school community to shape school-wide initiatives. Congratulations to our 2024 student leaders.
Our first Foundation/Year 1 Learning Hub assembly was a highlight of the week. It was lovely to see our youngest learners confidently sharing their learning with the audience. A shoutout to Phoebe and her Year 4 students who supported their buddy class to run the assembly. The children in 4.4 did an amazing job hosting the assembly. There were many proud parents/carers in the audience.
