Dear Families,
Our Foundation -year 2 children have embarked on an exciting educational adventure this week at the Marion Aquatic Centre. The children have participated in a week of water safety lessons that will equip them with the skills to keep safe at the pool, river or beach. Throughout the week, the children learnt valuable skills through play and games. By the look of all the smiles, the children had a fun time! Our year 3-5 students will be donning their bathers next week.
Yesterday our Basketball teams were back on the courts. Our Year 5-6 boys are the Statewide Schools Champions. Congratulations to everyone who participated. A big shout out to Matt and Aaron for supporting the students.
Our Festival of Music Choir will be on stage performing at The Festival Theatre tonight. This performance is a culmination of three terms of hard work and a passion for singing. Chookas to our Festival of Music Choir!
Two of our Pedal Prix teams will be back on the track this weekend participating in the 24hr Australian Pedal Prix race at Murray Bridge. Only six primary schools were invited to participate and Brighton was the only school to have two teams invited. Go Thunder and Bolt!
