Yesterday our Junior Choir joined with other Holdfast Partnership Junior Choirs for Holdfast Minfest 2023. We sang 5 songs together and each shared a special piece as well. We had a special guest appearance from Brighton Primary’s Signing Choir too. They weren’t just fabulous singers they were a fantastic group to bring on an excursion. Thank you to our volunteers Marisa, Belinda, Katarina, Cassie and Adrianne, without school volunteers these wonderful experiences couldn’t happen.
Today Year 4s had a visit from the Beachfront Hub Senior Band. This year’s band featured some BPS alumni as well as Tayne, Susie, Max, Kashfia, Amelia, Jens and Grace. They did a marvellous job! More info about next year’s intake will come out at the beginning of next term. If you have an interested Year 4 not yet a part of Instrumental Music tuition going to be in Year 5 in 2024 keep your Thursday mornings free as the program is held at Brighton Secondary School and families are responsible for organising transport. Sorry Sandy’s string students and those who have already started clarinet or trombone this year, you can’t have a second instrument covered by the scheme.
