We will be holding trials for the South West Cross Country Day on Monday the 3rd of April Week 10 this term. Meet on the Brighton Primary School oval at 8.30am. Students will need to sign up for these trials through their class teacher. We are allowed to send 10 students per age group and gender in the division 1 category. Division 2 is for students who don’t meet qualifying times and still wish to run. Their distance will be 2000m and can include 10, 11 and 12 year old students.
Division 1 10 years ( Born in 2013) 200m, 11 years (Born in 2012) 3000m and 12 years (born in 2011) 3000m
Qualifying times for the 2000m is around 10 minutes.
Qualifying times for the 3000m is around 15 minutes.
I hope to see a good turn out and students that nominate and are sick or absent on Monday the 3rd will have an opportunity to attend a catch up trial.
