Wednesday the 22nd of February (week 4) 3.30-4.30pm League Stars kicks off. This is for boys and girls aged 5-12
Thursday the 9th of March (week 6) Beach Volleyball carnival at Glenelg. We have 19 teams entered. This is for year 4-6 students. Reminder to parent managers to have the volunteer requirements up to date. Students will receive information and consent forms on line. We are catching buses there with a cost of $ 25.00
I am looking for any high school students to help with umpiring on the day as we are required to supply at least 4. Please let me know if you can help.
Tuesday the 14th of March (week 7) 1 Brighton selected team in Boys Football and Girls Netball will play South West schools at Westminster College. This is for year 5/6 students with priority going to year 6 students first. Our first Football trial will be on Monday the 20th of March on the oval with Marek and Jeff. Diane Donaldson will trial the interested Netball girls soon.
Wednesday the 29th of March (week 9) the Lacrosse Carnival is back after a two year Covid interruption. This is for years 4-6.
Friday the 31st of March (week 9) South West Swimming trials. For students born in 2013, 2012 and 2011. Held at Immanual College.
* Towards the end of term year 3 and 4 students can nominate for trials for mixed tackle rugby. The carnival is set for early term 2.
* Towards the end of term students born in 2013, 2012 and 2011 can trial for the term two Cross Country Carnival which is held at West Beach.
** Crows Cup have not returned my emails and it was scheduled for term 1 for year 5/6 girls. When I hear from the organisers I will let students know.
Lastly – don’t forget Running Club held every Friday morning at 8am. We had 14 students out last Friday. Great effort but room for more.
