As we race towards the end of term it is time to start planning for the return of all books that students have borrowed. Students are unable to borrow over the summer holidays as this is when we check all our resources.
Overdue notices have been sent out this week. Please help your child to find these books and return them to the library. If you are unable to find any books, please get your child to come to the library to let me know so that I can mark the book as lost. This is necessary so that your child is able to borrow at the start of next year.
Places to look for lost books are varied: under the bed, on the bookshelf, on the kitchen bench, in the car, or at a second home. It is surprising where they may be.
We also have a number of ‘Runaway Books’. These are books from homes that have runaway to the library hoping to become library books. If you are missing any of your home books, please come into the library to check if yours is hiding out here.
Year 6 students will need to return any musical instruments before the end of Week 8.
