Dear Families,
It’s been another big week at Brighton with junior primary students at swimming, our Wau Bulan Dancers performing in the Festival of Music and Buzzy Bees starting.
It was lovely to welcome over 80 children and their parents to Buzzy Bees this morning. Buzzy Bees is our new preschool to school transition program. Over nine sessions the children will get to know our staff, begin to build new friendships and become familiar and confident in the school environment.
Tonight our Senior Choir are performing at the Festival Theatre as part of the annual public schools Festival of Music. A big Chookas to all involved in tonight’s show.
We are excited to be celebrating National Week of Deaf People in Weeks 9 & 10 with many special events planned. We start off our celebrations for National Week of Deaf People on Monday Week 9 with our CDE students hosting a special National Week of Deaf People assembly. Our CDE assembly is an online/video presentation! Come join us on the Blog at 12pm Monday to watch the assembly and help us start our celebrations.
We would love to see families at school on Tuesday 27th September for the Art Show and Year 6 Enterprise Stalls. For further information please see the flyer that was sent home this week or the Blog.
