Indoor Volleyball Carnival
We had 79 students attend the Indoor Volleyball Carnival on Friday the 2nd of September. Besides the many hurdles thrown at us with the organisation of this day we still managed to get many of our teams into the finals. Brighton teams won 4 gold and 1 silver. Many thanks to the parents and young adults that helped with managing teams. Thanks Libby, Nicky, Shanya, Natalie, Judy, Megan, Tory and Katie.
Also thanks to Lisa and James the teachers who attended on the day.
Tag Rugby News
Rugby SA have informed me that there has not been enough schools nominate for this carnival so they have rescheduled the event to week 5 or 6 in term 4. Our 4 teams will continue to have practice sessions with me each week at recess and lunch.
State Athletics Carnival
Congratulations to Sofie who has qualified for the 100m, 200m and 4 x 100m, Mason, Evie and Julian for the 4 x 100m relay and Willow for the Long Jump and High Jump.
