Children will be transported to The Aquatic Centre by bus leaving school approx 30 minutes before the lesson and returning to school after lessons. The cost will be $45.00 which includes tuition fee, transport costs and an equipment use levy. Payment may be made in the usual way.

Only 2 volunteers per class will be needed. Parent volunteers will need to have full volunteer checks including a current Working with children’s check. They will need to wear a lanyard provided by the school, a mask and socially distance and remain on the benches during the lessons. No photos or videos may be taken. If they are unwell or a close contact they must not attend. Class teachers will organise their volunteers.

This year students will have access to their own change rooms at the pool. Students from 5 years old are required to be able to dress and undress themselves, with no adult help. If your child still has difficulty dressing and undressing themselves, then it is a good idea to give them lots of practise in the next few weeks. This encourages independence and is an expectation of children of school age.

More information will follow with consent forms this week.
