This term looks to be a busy one in the library.
- Yesterday, Overdue notices were sent out. Please help your child to find and return overdue books. If there is a problem please encourage your child to come into the library to let us know.
- This week brochures for Issue 5 for Scholastic Book Club will come home. Orders can be placed by visiting scholastic.com.au/LOOP or you can download the LOOP app. When placing orders please put in you child’s room number. All orders will be delivered to the school. The last day to place orders is Friday 5th August.
- During Weeks 1 & 2 we have the FYI Secret Headquarters based in the library.
- Week 6 we will be celebrating Book Week and Writer’s Week, with an assembly on Wednesday to announce our Writer’s Week Winners and for all students to take part in the Grand Parade in their Book Week Character costumes.
- Week 7 will see the completion of this year’s Premier’s Reading Challenge. All completed Student Record Sheets will need to be handed in by Friday 9th September
Each morning the library is open from 8.30 for students and their families to come in and borrow books or to have a quiet read.
